An introduction…
I am an independent content writer/editor/re-writer, print layout (newspaper and magazine) designer and sometimes graphic designer and photographer of sorts, among other odds and ends skills. I am very accommodating but frank, and, as such, I prefer concise communication.
Former Sunday Herald, Jamaica Observer and teleSUR English employee, who sometimes writes for multimedia blogs under the GNBJM moniker. As a result of working in media – across electronic, digital, multimedia, and print platforms – for almost 18 years, I pivot easily in high pressure environments and to dynamic projects.
My non-media clients include the Government of Jamaica, Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica, Jamaica Social Investment Fund, Caribbean Development Bank, and POP & Polished.
I am social media savvy, a pop culture fanatic, who is a bit of a warehouse for ‘useless’ facts related to entertainment, film, music, celeb, and other random general topics.
Additionally, I am a consumer of global news and sports cycles – namely tennis, English-style football, cricket, netball, basketball, American-style football especially in major/world championship tourneys. I love the Olympics, both winter and summer.
Last, but not least, I review, rate and rank the latest music releases, films, as well as new and existing television series and shows in my spare time, which can be found in the blog.
